About me
Kimberly Irish Heinonen (she/her) has nearly 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Her work as a Program Director at OneJustice includes leading its signature Executive Fellowship Program, which trains legal aid leaders in nonprofit management best practices. Before joining OneJustice in 2013, Kim worked at the Eviction Defense Collaborative and Breast Cancer Action (both based in San Francisco, CA). She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and Spanish from the University of California, Davis, and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Kim is also an Alumna of the Dr. Beatriz María Solís Policy Institute of the Women’s Foundation of California, and she earned BoardSource’s Certificate of Nonprofit Board Education. In addition to her career in the nonprofit sector, Kim has also volunteered her time as a board member for organizations such as First Exposures and Human Rights Advocates.
