About me
Sheyda manages LAFLA’s nationally recognized and award-winning Medical Legal Partnership (MLP) workgroup. Her career at LAFLA spans more than 11 years across multiple teams, including the organization’s Eviction Defense Center and Housing and Communities workgroups. In 2019, after years of housing law practice, Sheyda joined the MLP team, where she has been working closely with health providers and community-based organizations as well as mentoring and training many of the staff and law clerks overseeing LAFLA’s multiple MLP sites.
Sheyda obtained her B.A. from UC Berkeley and J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law.
